Message from Moyor (January 25, 2022)
From Mayor to Citizens of Toyokawa
“The Semi-State of Emergency” was issued in Aichi prefecture from January 21. In Toyokawa city, 197 newly infected were confirmed on January 23 which is the highest number. The 6th infectious wave has been raging and leaving huge influence on the citizen’s life. I am asking the citizens to do thorough basic preventive measures continuously.
- Refrain from going out (including going to work and school) if you are not feeling well.
- In case of having fever etc., call medical institution immediately and take medical consultation.
- If you do not have symptoms such as fever etc. and have normal health condition, try to refrain from visiting medical institutions for the purpose of taking a test as much as possible.
For early passing the peak of the 6th wave, I ask every citizen earnestly to refrain from going out unnecessarily, participating in events with large number of people and do thorough preventive measures continuously.
