About procedure of The Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly concerning COVID-19 (Aid money for medical treatment)
Persons who are insured by The Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly and got infected by coronavirus (including suspicious case due to having fever), can receive aid money for medical treatment to prevent financial difficulty caused by income loss.
Eligible period: Scheduled work days when the person could not work because of infection (Excluding first 3 days.)
Eligible person: Those who are employed and insured by The Late-Stage Medical Care System for the Elderly and got infected by coronavirus or are suspected of infection.
Payment sum: Total sum of past 3 month income ÷ worked days × 2/3 × applied days
※If you could get paid fully or partially, this aid money is not paid during this period.
Applied period: from January 1 to September 30, 2020 (1 year and 6 months maximum)
