What is Yochien?
Yochien (Kindergarten) is a childcare facility which a child with age of 3 years and older can enter, and there are 5 Yochiens in Toyokawa. At respective Yochien, education for children is offered with the kindergarten’s originality. What is different from Hoikuen is that admission to Yochien does not require state of guardian’s employment. That is to say, guardian who does not work can apply. The fee and hour of childcare differ depending on Yochien. Applications for admission are done in October every year, and they are accepted at each Yochien.
