The Four Seasons of Toyokawa
Toyokawa is located in the middle of an area typical of the Pacific climate. Fine weather is common, rainfall is adequate and snow is rare. The four seasons are clearly defined with the beautiful scenery of each season seen throughout the city.

There are also festivals for each season. In addition to traditional festivals dedicated to daring Tezutsu fireworks (large hand-held fountain fireworks) there are new civic festivals such as the "Oiden Festival," the "Tezutsu Festival" and others. Moreover, there are many sight-seeing spots such as historical legacies like "Toyokawa Inari," one of the three major Inari shrines famous throughout Japan, and the "Goyu Pine Tree-Lined Street" reminiscent of the former "Tokaido" as well as Akatsukasan Park home of "Gyogyo Land" fresh water aquarium.
