Subsidy for purchasing hearing aid for child with hearing impairment

Eligibility	Person living in Toyokawa aged 18 years and younger who meets all the following conditions Hearing ability of both ears is between 30 and 69 decibels. Not eligible for issuance of Physically Disabled Person’s Handbook (Shintai Shogaisha Techo) (Hearing Impairment) Doctor expects the child’s language development etc. with the help of hearing aid.
Sum of subsidy	2/3 of less expensive price of either the standard price which is set for respective hearing aid or actual purchase cost
Application	Before buying hearing aid, come to Disability Welfare Division (Main Bldg. 1F) with doctor’s note etc. Form of doctor’s note is available at Disability Welfare Division (It can be downloaded from city website.).
