Taxi coupons for persons with disabilities 「障害者のタクシー利用料を助成」

Subsidized taxi coupons are provided to disabled persons. Please bring Disability Certificate (Shougaisha Techo) and come to Disability Welfare Division (Main Bldg. 1F), respective branch offices, or Prio Service Center (Welfare taxi coupons for persons with severe disabilities are excluded.). Both of the following (1) and (2) are not issued to the same person.

Welfare taxi coupons

Eligibility

Person who does not have reduction or exemption with automobile tax or light vehicle tax and meets any of the following conditions

1. Physically Disabled Person's Handbook (Shintai Shogaisha Techo) level 1 or 2, or level 3 of any of the following disabilities (vision, lower limb, or torso)
2. Rehabilitation Handbook (Ryoiku Techo) A or B
3. Mental Disability Certificate (Seishin Shogaisha Hoken Fukushi Techo) level 1 or 2

Number of tickets

30 tickets per year (500 yen ticket). Among eligible persons, following person receives 60 tickets (Person meeting condition 1, person with Rehabilitation Handbook A of condition 2, or person with Mental Disability Certificate level 1 of condition 3).

Welfare taxi coupons for persons with severe disabilities

Eligibility

Person who meets any of the following conditions

1. Person with Physically Disabled Person's Handbook (Shintai Shogaisha Techo) level 1 or 2 as well as Rehabilitation Handbook (Ryoiku Techo) A who has difficulty in maintaining sitting position and cannot go out without using stretcher.
2. Person with Physically Disabled Person's Handbook (Shintai Shogaisha Techo) Torso Disability level 1 or 2 who cannot go out without using stretcher and lives alone (Except person in the social welfare facilities etc.)

70 tickets per year (1,000 yen ticket)
