Children between the ages of seven and 12 go to primary school and children between the ages of 13 and 15 go to junior high school. These ages refer to the ages of children between the 2nd of April and the 1st of April the following year. Apply at the school education division or the children division to enroll your child in public school.
Club for after-school children (Jidou Club)
Children Division 89-2133
Children's clubs look after first to third graders who are alone at home after school. They are open from 1:00pm to 6:00pm during school terms and 8:00am to 6:00pm during holidays. They are closed on weekends, national holidays, the Bon Festival period and the year-end and New Year holiday. The fee is 7,500yen per month except for August when the fee is 15,000yen. Apply at the children division. Apply directly to children clubs in Ichinomiya area
