| Child allowance is granted to families raising children before entering junior high school. Child-care allowance is granted to families that have children under 18 years old with no father or a father with a serious disability.
Special Child Support Allowance is granted to families raising children who have more than moderate physical or mental disabilities.
These allowances may not be received if the families have a higher income than the limit.
