Water and Sewage |

When Using Water and Canceling Service |
Water is supplied by the Toyokawa
City Water Department. To begin water service consult with your
landlord or such and contact the Water Department. To cancel
service when you move, contact the Water Department in the same
manner. |
Water Fee |
The water fee is calculated by a
basic fee plus a standard duty imposed according to the amount
of water used and the amount is multiplied by 105/100. An inspector
will check once every two months and you will be informed at
the time of inspection of your water usage and water fee.
Your water bill may be paid either by automatic money transfer
from a designated bank account, or by having the bill sent to
your residence and paid in person at a financial institution,
however, the automatic bank transfer is more convenient. For
automatic bank transfers, bring your "receipt" or
"water usage notification," bank book, and bank book
seal to your financial institution for processing. |
Sewage |
Sewage is handled by Toyokawa
City. In areas with sewage service, a sewage charge is levied
when water service is started. It is paid at the same time
as your water bill according to a standard duty on usage.
