Prerequisites for Application
[1] You live or work in Toyokawa.
[2] You have a family and are living together or will attempt to live
together. It is also possible to apply if you are cohabiting or are engaged.
In cases of persons with disabilities and elderly people, single person
applications may be acceptable.
[3] It's apparent that the applicant and *family have a housing
problem.
If you have your own house, you cannot submit an
application.
[4] Your income falls within the stated boundaries.
Total family income minus deductions must be less than the
figures below.
General household: 200,000 yen per month
Discretionary household: 268,000 yen per month
Discretionary household means elderly households, families
with small children and families with persons with disabilities.
Application information will be published in the public
newsletter TOYOKAWA when apartments are available.
Application Procedure: Find vacant apartment information
in the public newsletter → Submit application forms to the building division → Lot → Screen → Win
These are the documents required for the screening.
(1) Certificate of* Alien Registration (if you are a
foreigner)
(2) Certificate of income or withholding certificate
(3) Documents showing dependents or unemployed
(a copy of the dependent’s health insurance or a copy of
the dependent’s unemployment certificate)
(4) Copy of health insurance
(5) Resident tax certificate
This means non-payers of resident
tax and those who don’t have public insurance can’t pass the
screening.
